Costa Rica is one of the best places in the world for rafting. The rain forests form heavenly rivers that are excellent for this sport. Come and enjoy the rapids, exuberant vegetation, waterfalls and unique scenery. We choose rivers without dams for a natural ride. Along the run you will have the opportunity to feel the rush and adrenaline that white water rivers offer. The rivers are good for beginners as well as experts. What you will experience could be the best part of your entire trip to Costa Rica.

Savegre River:

Rapids class II and III. Originates in Los Santos Forestal Reserve, 11km from Rio Blanco to El Silencio. Fun river for beginners and experienced rafters. The Savegre River is considered the most pristine river in Costa Rica. It is the perfect rafting river for families and young kids. During the descent you will have the chance to enjoy the canyons, run fun rapids, hike to a waterfall, and enjoy tropical scenery. Runs all year round.

Price: $100 per person

Time: From 8:00 am to 2:30pm

Ages: 7 and up

Includes: Snack, lunch, transportation, professional equipment and lots of fun.

Requirements: No experience required. Participants must know how to swim, have the abilities to walk in slippery or unstable places and paddle.

Coto Brus River:

Rapids class III and IV. Full day rafting adventure. Originates in Amistad National Park, 14km from Tablas to Potrero Grande. It is a fun run for the adventurous traveler. The Coto Brus River is known for its beautiful scenery, exciting rapids, the greenness that surrounds it and the diversity of wildlife that you can find on it. Since other boaters are rarely found there, it is a virgin river for rafting. It is simply an unforgettable adventure. Runs all year round.

Price: $110 per person

Time: From 6:30 am to 4:30pm

Ages: 14 and up

Guabo River:

Rapids Class II, III+, V Portage. Originates in the Baru Mountains and flows from Fila Las Nubes. 10km, Tres Piedras section to Dominical. The Guabo River has a lot to offer such as exuberant vegetation, a pristine canyon, pool drop river with a jump rock and an exciting descent. During the run you will have the chance to hike waterfalls, enjoy its richness in wildlife and unique scenery. Runs from August to November.

Time: From 8:00 am to 1:30pm

Ages: 14 and up

Chorro River – Upper Naranjo:

Rapids class III and IV+. Originates in Los Santos Forestal Reserve. 8km section from Entrada to Las Esperanzas. For experienced paddlers. Pristine deep canyon, non stop white water, surrounded by tropical jungle, adrenaline filled river. Runs from January to April.

Price: $100 per person

Time: From 8:00 am to 2:00pm

Ages: 16 and up

Includes: Snack, lunch, transportation, professional equipment and lots of fun.

Tubing and Floats:

Tubing & floating in the Rio Baru is a perfect experience for those who like to enjoy the nature mixed with adventure. There is lots of nature and beautiful scenery that the river has to offer. This is a nice activity for everyone in the group. Each person will be on his or her own individual tube and also we have bigger inflatables for those who feel more comfortable doing the descent with the guide. Along the river we will stop for a picnic. The section that we would be running has small and fun rapids.

Time: From 9:00 am to 12:00pm

Ages: 5 and up
